Hi, Unfortunately, to verify that a genuine smartcard was in the system we verified the first three bytes of the Answer to Reset (ATR) message as being 0x3B, 0xEF, 0x00. By default, ZC3.32 starts off with 0x3B, 0xBC, 0x19. I can change the historical data on the card (and hence the length in the bottom 4 bits of byte 2), but I do not seem to be able to change the top 4 bits of byte 2 or add byte 3 (and 4) without "bricking" the card. Is the ZC3.32 completely incompatible with the bytes 2 and 3 being 0xEx and 0x00, or is there some declare binary ATR string that I could use to fulfill my purpose. I am currently holding off our next order of BasicCards to see if we can resolve this. Regards, |
